1. TIME FRAME
The contract will be signed for at least 24 hours. The BENEFICIARY has to bring back the rented car on the day and time that are stated in the contract.
Any delay greater than 3 hours will be charged as a whole day.
In case the BENEFICIARY brings back the vehicle 24 hours after due date, the OWNER has the right to report the car as stolen.
2. BENEFICIARY OBLIGATIONS
The BENEFICIARY has the following obligations:
To pay for the renting service when the contract is signed.
To be more than 21 years old.
Not to damage the vehicle.
To pay the fines, parking fees or any other taxes that are not stated in the present contract.
To show the police all contracting documents, in case of an accident.
To obtain the following documents, in case of an accident or theft:
- the record/report of the accident or theft
- the Appendix No. 2 to the CASCO insurance
- the repair authorisation
To pay 200 RON/ a day, in case the BENEFICIARY causes an accident or any car damage
To pay the guarantee settled by the OWNER.
To immediately inform the OWNER in case of an accident.
Not to abandon the vehicle in case of an accident.
To ask the police for all the necessary documents, in case of an accident, and give them to the OWNER.
To return the vehicle on the day and time settled with the OWNER.
Not to subrent the car to a third part.
Not to allow anyone else drive the car.
Not to carry more people than the car’s specifications legally allow.
Not to carry illegal materials or substances or any other products without the required documentation to account for them.
Not to haul other vehicles without the written agreement of the OWNER.
Not to leave the car with open windows and/or with the carkeys in the ignition.
No to sell the rented car or back a credit with it.
Tha car must be returned washed both inside and outside.
When the contract expires, the BENEFICIARY will bring back the rented car, with all its accessories, in the same condition as it was when he rented it.
Not to steal the vehicle.
To use the vehicle only for the stated purpose.
Not to drive under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.
To obey driving regulations.
To cover all expenses in case he causes a car accident.
Not to change or replace any car pieces.
Not to try to fix the car.
Not to involve the rented vehicle in a car race.
As far as the RENT A CAR service is concerned, the BENEFICIARY commites himself to bring back the rented vehicle with as much fuel as it had when being rented. If he doesn’t, the OWNER will receive the countervalue of the fuel, at a price of 8 RON/litre.
All expenses concerning the use of the car (parking fees, fines, road fees etc) are covered by the BENEFICIARY.
3. OWNER OBLIGATIONS
The OWNER has the following obligations:
To give the BENEFICIARY the rented car in perfect technical condition.
To maintain the vehicle in perfect technical condition.
To pay the car insurance taxes on time.
The guarantee tax will be paid back to the BENEFICIARY when he brings back the car, unless the BENEFICIARY caused damages to the car and refuses to pay for them.
If the rented car proves to be damaged that are not cover by the insurance company (mechanical damage, scratched, missing accesrories etc), the OWNER will keep the guarantee tax until all damages are being paid for.
In case the BENEFICIARY brings back the car earlier than the contract states, the OWNER reserves his right of not paying the BENEFICIARY any money back.
As far as RENT A CAR WITH A DRIVER service is concerned, the OWNER has to provide the necessary fuel.
4. TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT
The contract expires on the priorly settled date, except for the case when the two parts choose to extend it.
The contract is terminated if one of the two parts breaks one of their obligations
